How it works

  2. 2

    A doctor calls you

If it is urgent we call at once; otherwise a doctor sets up your care.

  3. 3

We stay until you are well

What dengue does

Three phases. The middle one — when the fever falls — needs the closest watch.

Learn about dengue
  1. 1

    Fever

The first 2–7 days: high fever, aches, pain behind the eyes. Rest and drink.

  2. 2

    The danger days

Around days 3–7, as the fever falls, for one or two days: check for danger signs every few hours.

  3. 3

    Recovery

Appetite and strength return slowly. Keep drinking, keep checking in.
