Dengue in pregnancy: see a doctor from the first day

When a pregnant mother has dengue, both mother and baby need extra care.By সম্পাদনা দল · Editorial desk — Oct 16, 2026 · 5:30 PM, 1 min read

Dengue in pregnancy carries a higher risk of complications. When fever starts, tell a doctor straight away that you are pregnant.

  • When you ask for help, answer "pregnant" — our team will call you first
  • Do not take any medicine on your own
  • Go to a hospital at once with belly pain, bleeding or if the baby moves less
In pregnancy, care in hospital is often the safest. Follow your doctor's advice.
